The Home Builders Association of Washington County is dedicated to being proactive in pursuing legislative and regulatory issues relative to the building industry and within the best interests of the consumer in Washington County Maryland to help keep home ownership within the reach of every citizen of Washington County who may choose to own a home. The HBAWC is an independent Association and is not affiliated with any other state or national association.  The HBAWC is a local Association dedicated to being one pro-active on your behalf where you work and/or live.

The HBAWC monitors regulations, policy and ordinances changes both on the County level and within the City of Hagerstown.  Protecting your interests is a challenge the HBAWC has undertaken, and will continue on behalf of its members.  The HBAWC monitors regulations you, as a business person, do not have the time to monitor.

Legislation and Regulation gets tougher on the building industry everyday with the perception of urban sprawl, farm preservation, Smart Growth, licensing and taxation in the news every week.  We need well-respected quality builders and those supporting the building industry to make your industry a stronger voice here in Washington County.

Membership is open to any company or firm related to the building industry, both residential and commercial at a yearly rate of $295.  To join please print the membership application and mail it along with your yearly dues to the address on the application.
